• This project was executed by TDS, with the interior environmental design led by Aeroforma studio managing director Manjit Dhillon.
• MBJ encompassed both commercial planning and the environmental design of the entire airport interior.

Commercial Planning Challenges & Solutions:
• Addressed the challenge of passenger flow, where all travelers arrived in a narrow space between the two departure piers.
• Reconfigured the layout to ensure all passengers pass through the commercial zone before reaching their gates.
• Expanded the terminal to include a new, iconic dining area overlooking the apron, enhancing both experience and revenue potential.

Design & Branding:
• Developed a comprehensive design manual covering all terminal areas, integrating Jamaican cultural characteristics.
• Created a commercial area design inspired by palm trees, incorporating elements from their trunks, fronds, and fruits to reflect a strong sense of place.
