• This project was designed and executed by Grimshaw Architects and GMW Architects, creating a new international hub airport in Istanbul capable of handling up to 90 million passengers, with potential expansion to 120 million.

• The 1.3 million m² terminal includes 40,000m² of commercial space and prioritizes passenger comfort through intuitive wayfinding, landmarks, and intimate spaces within its vast scale.

• The interior design concept was led by Aeroforma studio managing director Manjit Dhillon. , ensuring a refined and engaging passenger experience. Inspired by Istanbul’s architectural heritage, the vaulted ceiling reflects the design of local mosques, seamlessly blending tradition with modern functionality.

• Serving as Turkish Airlines' main hub, the airport was designed for efficiency, scalability, and a seamless passenger experience.
